How to Disable the Proxy Setting
If your proxy boxes are "grayed out" and the top box is un-checked, that means the setting has been taken care of for you automatically, and you do not need to do anything else.
If the box is "grayed out" and checked, contact your campus technology specialist for assistance.
If your campus does not have a technology person, submit a repair request to have the proxy turned off. Click here for the repair request form. Choose the "on-site" option.
